Mother Mary L. Wade 92, affectionately called grandma by many, transitioned from her earthly home to the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, May 2, 2018.
Mother Wade was born on July 19, 1925, in Furman, Alabama to the late Hannah Moore, She was a member and church Mother at Frank Avenue Worship Center in Barberton, OH.
Mother Mary Wade was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Wade, Sr.; mother, Hannah Moore; sister, Carrie (Claude) Brown; James (Lucille) Purefoy; daughter-in-law, Fannie C. Wade.
She is survived by children Henry Wade, Jr., Calvin Thomas, George Thomas, Tanya Wade, Karen Wade, Rhonda (Ben) Ferguson, brother Willie James (Thelma) Moore of Pensacola, Fla.; grandchildren, Jonathan (India), Ryan (Aimee), Jason (Samantha), Valinda, Kristen, Felicia, Jacquelyn, Reva and Brandon Ferguson and a host of nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
