George Tyrone Montgomery was born October 6, 1948, in Detroit Michigan, To the Union of John and Willie Mae Montgomery. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at a church he attended in Detroit, Michigan. He attended Northwestern high school where he graduated in 1967. George went on to serve in the army in 1968. After his term in the army overseas, he then returned to his Hometown, and began working at Ford Motor company, The flat rock foundry, and then the Romeo engine plant. He was transferred to the Ford plant in Ohio.. He worked in the foundry plant until he retired in 2011.. Shortly after his transfer to Ohio, George met Michele Lisa Barrett, which led to their marriage in 2004 which lasted 17 years, until his

death. George was the Patriarch of his family, and will always be remembered for his loving spirit, and definitely his joking personality. As well as his infectious laugh. George was a people person, with one of the kindest and selfless souls, that you could ever encounter in life. He is deeply missed not only by his loved ones, but by everyone whom was blessed to have known him. George departed this life on February 14th, 2022. And was proceeded in death by his parents John and Willie Mae Montgomery Montgomery his siblings Charles, Johnny, Gary, and Maurice. They were called The Montgomery Boys. He leaves to cherish his memory his dear wife Michele Lisa Montgomery, sister Rita Davis his children Donna Montgomery, Daleshia Barrett, Aja Barrett, Antonio

Barrett, and Shaquille Barrett. Sister-in-law Mitzi Barrett, Brother-in-law Maurice Barrett, 5 granddaughters, 5 grandsons, one great granddaughter Lariya. Also a host of other relatives and friends.
