Mrs. Betty Vernon, age 88, went home to be with the Lord on June 22, 2021. Betty Vernon is survived by her beloved children, Judy, William, Barbara, Rosa, Kenneth, and Joseph; siblings, William and Howard; grandchildren, Gerri, Marlyn, Marlene, Mona, Corey, Betty, Larry, Kenneth, Lequantta, Mozell, David, Dainyell, Rachael, Quameen, Howard III., Fiero, and Nikki; and a host of great and great, great-grandchildren. Mrs. Betty Vernon is the daughter of the late, William Wade and Nellie Ray. She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Howard Vernon; children, Lawrence, Julie, Audre, and Howard Jr.; grandson, Marco.
