Ms. Thelma Parker went home to be with the Lord on June 28, 2017. Thelma is survived by her mother Lucille Duff. Cherished mother of Ms. Dawn K. Parker and Ms. Geri L. Parker. Loving sister of Priscilla J. Duff, Mr. Johnny Duff Jr., and Ms. Peggy A. Duff. Grandmother of Mr. Donte Billingsley and Ms. Delani L. Hughes.

Thelma was a wonderful person and I sorely missed her when she retired. She was always a joy to be with.

Thelma was a dear colleague from CSU. She was beautiful and always shared her stories from growing up in the south, which made her the strong woman that she was. I respected and admired her. She had tremendous integrity and set high standards for our department. My deepest condolences to her family. She will be fondly missed.
