Nancy Wilson, 81 of Akron, Ohio passed away peacefully with her family by her side on December 14, 2023, in Akron, Ohio. She was born on February 14, 1942, in Birmingham, Alabama.

Nancy retired as a Supervisor with the United States Postal Service in Akron, Ohio after 20+ years of service. She was a Christian by faith and enjoyed reading her Bible. She also loved traveling the Country with her Husband and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband Travis, sisters Lelia Dixie and Leola Broadnax, brothers June and Leroy Carter. Nancy is survived by her six daughters, Dot Brantley, Donna Burkett, Carol Brantley, Kim Brantley, Shirla Brantley and Sheila Brantley all of Akron and Columbus, Ohio; and like a daughter Shameka Brantley (granddaughter) Lake Ridge, VA, 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, cherished sister Ruth Carter, sister Barbara Turner both of Akron, Ohio, sisters Loretta Hudson, Georgia Hudson of Uniontown, Alabama, Queen Cunningham, Fort Wayne, Indiana, brothers Benny Carter, Los Angeles, CA, Junionia Carter, Uniontown, Alabama and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

To the Family of my friend Nancy, she was such a Good friend to me and my family, she was a thoughtful and Careing person. I will miss her dearly. she loved her Family, she would always have the children's dinner prepared when they came home from school, she was a Model loving Mother whom everyone Loved also to her children you are in my thoughts and Prayers ( I most recently found out she had passed away) R.I.H.
