Mr. Nathaniel Howard Reese Sr. was a great husband, nurturing father and grandfather, who loved to sing, and his faith was his foundation. He was born August 5, 1940 in Cleveland OH, the son of Samuel Reese Sr. and Elizabeth (Hurt) Reese.

Left to cherish his memory: his wife, Cassie Reese; three children: Tony Reese (Shawna), Marilyn Hughes, Nathaniel (Michelle) Howard Reese Jr.; eight grandchildren: Jameel Hughes, Omari Hughes, Danielle Reese, Daysia Reese, Tony Reese Jr., Tamia Reese, Nathaniel Howard Reese III, Nicholas Jay Reese; two great-grandchildren: Janiaya Hughes and Dylan Reese and finally two grand-pups (pets) Bentley Hughes and Pluto Reese and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. His brothers and sisters who are no longer with us: Alvertis Traylor, Claudette Slaughter, and Samuel Leroy Reese.

Dear Cassie and Family, My deepest condolences to all of you. I am so thankful for having the chance to know Nate and spend time with you all at Church and at your home for celebrations. I will never forget how Cassie and Nate were there for me lifting me up when I was down. I thank you and I am glad Nate knew how much I love and appreciate you all. Memories of Nate will live on with me forever. I know His Spirit lives on in all of You. Love Donna

My deepest condolences to Mrs. C. Reese and the entire family.. Bro. Nat was my Christian brother and a good friend. I will miss him. I first met Bro. Nat as his mailman. He was very friendly and treated me well during my time as his mailman. I will always remember and cherish those days until I meet him in God’s glory.

We did know you like our mom but the time we did spend with you and Auntie you ROCK! I just thought you were our Uncle but you were our Great, Great Uncle. You would have never known because you were so full of energy, laughter and words of wisdom. Uncle Nate we love you!
