Nicole Norene Fears-King (divorced), age 46 of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017. She was born to Lonnie Fears Sr. and Barbara Jean Wilson on March 4, 1971. On March 4, 1971, Barbara Jean fell in love for the first time as she looked into the eyes of her only child Nicole Norene King. That day Nicole entered the world, she didn’t know how many lives she would impact and the world.
Nicole attended Beehive Elementary School and then continued her education at Warrensville High School. Nicole became involved with Warrensville High School’s Cheerleading team and developed a love to cheer while lifting the spirits of others. Nicole loved to meet new people and met a lifetime friend named Shalaine Murphy. Shalaine and Nicole developed a close bond that couldn’t be broken and loved to do everything together. Nicole graduated from Warrensville High School and attended to Bowling Green State University for Nursing, but instead she decided to become a paramedic and transferred to Tri-C Community College to obtain her Paramedic Certificate.
Nicole then dedicated her abilities the City of Cleveland and served as a paramedic for the Cleveland Emergency Medical Service. Nicole had the spirit of determination, dedication and perseverance that led her into being promoted as a Sergent. She also served as the head of the Payroll Department. Nicole received multiple recognitions her service to Cleveland such as the Malik Salahuddin Awards and several service awards. All together Nicole dedicated 19 years of service to Cleveland Emergency Medical Services.
Nicole had a bubbly, heart-warming charisma that attracted multiple friends that worked throughout the city of Cleveland. She loved to entertain her friends and family that led into her passion of hosting. Nicole hosted Pamper Chef Parties and selling AVON products. During her quiet time, she enjoyed reading romance books.
Nicole loved her family and friends, but she was mostly in love with her children. Nicole dedicated her life to her children and did everything she could for them. Nicole was the biggest support for her children as she cheered Kezmei on with Basketball, cheered Cierra on in her Art Shows and cheered Charmaine in her Cheerleading Events. Nicole was very involved in her children lives and always made sure that her kids were first in everything that she did. She always made sure that they were well taken care of.
Nicole leaves behind her father Lonnie (Linda), Fears Sr., and her Mother Barbara Jean (Chester) Wilson; her beloved children, Kezmei Spencer, Cierra King and Charmaine Burstion; brothers, Lonnie Fears Jr. and Jarrod Fears; three special Aunts, Joyce White, Patricia Storey and Phyllis Womack; two special cousins, Rasheeda Larkin and Brandi White and dear friend Elton Murray; and a host of other cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and special friends.
