In the fullness of God’s divine plan, Pamela Elizabeth Burke
entered this world to the union of Palmer Eugene Hubbard Sr.
and Gertrude Jean Hubbard in St. Louis, MO, as a light to all
who knew her — a soul of grace, strength, and compassion,
sent to walk among us and leave a legacy of love that will
endure beyond the bounds of time.
Pamela was a shining light whose path took her to giving her
life to Christ as a child at Christ Community Temple Church
of God in Christ, where she sang in the Sunshine Band and
served as an usher. Pamela graduated from Charles Sumner
High School in 1978, where she was a majorette and loved
taking part in the drama club. She worked at numerous
customer service manager positions before she retired.
She was a devoted and loving daughter, mother, grandmother,
great‑grandmother, sister and friend.
Her journey carried her from St. Louis through Indiana,
and finally to Cleveland, Ohio, where she found renewed
purpose and a deeper walk with God. Pamela’s life was filled
with music, laughter, family gatherings, and a spirit of
generosity that touched everyone she met. She faced challenges
with courage, forgave freely, and always believed that
“the best is yet to come.”
