Pamela Studamire Rosado was born on April 2, 1958, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Lillian Weaver Studamire and the late James Studamire. Pamela departed this life on January 10, 2024, at St. John’s Medical Center. Her husband, William Rosado, preceded her in death. Her only child, William Christopher Rosado, also preceded her in death in 2017.
Pam accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at Peace Baptist Church in Cleveland, OH. Later, she joined St. Paul United Methodist. Educated in the Cleveland Public School System, she graduated from Jane Adams High School and later attended and graduated from Tri-C College. Pam moved to New York City, and upon her husband’s death returned to Cleveland.
Pam was employed at SEIU Union, Local 47, as a Political Director. She later worked at Policy Matters Think Tank as an Outreach Coordinator. Her last job was working for Senator Sherrod Brown as a Constituent Advocate. Pam was an active member of the Cuyahoga Democratic Women’s Caucus and the United Way as a Labor Liaison. She taught leadership classes in Ashland, Ohio.
Pam loved helping people of all backgrounds. She was a lay minister at St. Paul United Methodist Church. Pam enjoyed traveling with her mom and family, loved cooking, playing games, and always said her greatest joy was being a mother to her son, William. Pam was known for her love, kindness, and never met a stranger.
Pam leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Lillian Studamire; sister, Marilyn (Don Shelton); brother, Vaughn Studamire; and her four aunts Julia Harris of Detroit, Mich.; Gloria Seaton of Homestead, FL; Arnetth Weaver (Richard) of Spring Lake, NC; and Helen Cook of Falls Church, VA. Preceding her in death is her brother, James A. Studamire.
She is survived by two nieces, Daughn and Dayla, and four nephews: Sammy, Dante, Derric (also known as Ras). Additionally, she leaves behind two great-nieces, Neteri and Azura. Her dear friend, Mark Davis, and a host of other relatives and friends also mourn her passing.
