To the Family of Pastor Jones: No words can express the void you feel in losing your love one. Just remember, "Precious in the sight of the LORD is death of his saints." Psalm 116:15. Emmett was one of Gods chosen. His faith, and love for family and friends can never be forgotten. Today your hearts are heavy because though he has gone home it is difficult to let go. But it is natural to grieve because you Loved Emmett --even "Jesus Wept." I was blessed to grow up in Paducah and cross the path of one if God's saints. Just always remember, Emmett is not gone because his memories will always live in each of you. We will keep you in our hearts and prayers. Howard Johnson and Family

I did not know Rev. Jones, but his daughter Larissa is a colleague. If you can infer something about a person’s character by their offspring, then I am convinced he was a very special man. My heart goes out to her now. I have lost my father as well and I know from experience that one is never too old to feel the loss of a parent deeply. My deepest condolences are with you.

I did not know Emmett Lee Jones, but I do know his daughter Dr. Larissa Malone. If Larissa was even a small portion of who her father was, he must have been a man that each of us would be honored to walk with during this life. My deepest condolences during this time of loss.
