Pastor Sally M. Thompson, age 73, went home to be with the Lord on November 21, 2019.  Pastor Sally Thompson is survived by her only son, Philip A. (Carmen) Thompson; god-daughter, Carmeshia Smiley; siblings, Thelma (Willie) Wren and Earnice Thompson; grandchildren, Aaron J. Hicks, Kiyla L. Cooper, Timothy Hatchett, Terrance Williams, Jr., and Michael Williams.

Pastor Sally M. Thompson is preceded in death by Merdise (Eugene) Barnes, Genotrice (James) Dixon, Theatrice (Jesse) Martin, Peacolia Thompson, Emma Buckner, Marilyn Thompson, Therman (Ethel) Thompson, and Herman Thompson.

Sally was my next door neighbor for the past 10 years. I'm so thankful for her friendship. It is an honor to have known her as a sister in Christ. One of my favorite memories is singing hymns and praise songs with her. I'm going to miss her, but her light continues to shine.
