Patricia Ann Mitchell was born on June 22, 1953 to Anna P. Washington in Akron, Ohio. She attended Akron Public Schools. She was employed at several different jobs during her life, lastly employed at Our Lady of the Elms. Patricia had a personal relationship with the Lord, she served and worshipped as a faithful member of St. Luke Baptist Church. She was an active member of the choir, touching many through her soulful singing. She was also a member of the Young In Heart Senior Club. One of her hobbies which she enjoyed was making collages of the family. Patricia loved her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Patricia was preceded in death by her mother, Anna P. (nee Washington) Williams. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Daniel (Selena) Washington Sr. and Darnell (Yunika) Washington; grandchildren Dashanae, Daniel Jr., Darshell, Danielle, Joasyaie, and Kayla; great-grandchildren Kevin Jr. and Daylon; sisters Shirley (Collie) Johnston, Norsis (Gregory Sr.) Edwards, and Maxine Edwards; brothers Ivery (Gladys) Washington and Michael Williams; aunts Iola Rue and Addie Gibson; Uncle Riley (Mildred) Buchanan; special friends Evelyn Smith, Ernestine Logan, and Dorothy Johnson; special cousin Diane Quinney; bonus daughters Yulanda McDade and JaSunya Washington, and a host of other beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
