Ms. Patricia Louise Simpson, 75, transitioned into eternal rest on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Cleveland Clinic Hospital. She was born on July 24, 1947, in Massillon, OH. Patricia attended John Hay High School and Artha-Jon Academy of Modeling and Charm in Cleveland, OH. Her career history included working at WJMO & WJW Radio Stations, Morse Diesel, and most recently at Wilkerson & Associates, LPA as a Legal Secretary. Patricia was a faithful member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Cleveland, OH, and regularly attended services until her health prevented it.
Ms. Simpson, known by many as “Trish” or “Pat”, was a truly gifted seamstress and created beautiful clothing for family and friends that ranged from everyday wear to elegant evening attire, including prom and wedding dresses. She loved her family and close friends; she was also a mother to others as well. Her passion for helping others defined who Patricia was. She would unselfishly give to anyone in need and do anything for her family. She had a smile that could light up a room, and a laugh that is etched in everyone’s memory forever. On Friday’s, Patricia would host fish fry’s where more than just food would be given; friends gathered, and memories were created. She will be missed by all who loved her.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Jesse, and Betty Lorraine Heflin (nee Adams); her brothers, Joseph Hilary Heflin, and George Curtis Heflin, one sister, Kay Lorraine Heflin; and her grandson, Allen Michael Simpson.
Surviving to cherish fond memories are her children, Ronald E. Simpson (Sonya) of Atlanta, GA, and Ronda K. Creer (Shannon Sr.) of Cleveland, OH; aunt, Mary Kay Pringle of Phoenix, AZ; one sister, Sandra J. Price (John) of Cleveland, OH; cousin, Arthur Jeffrey Thompson (Sherry) of Detroit, MI; sister-in-law, Diana Heflin of Cleveland, OH; six granddaughters, Tamia Major of Cleveland, OH, Shian Creer of the US Air Force – currently stationed in Kuwait, Japreice Snoody of Cleveland, OH, Mecca Dube of Atlanta, GA, Daizja Dube’ Neal of Charlotte, NC, and Sasshai Creer of OH; three grandsons, Alex Simpson of Cleveland, OH, Shannon Creer Jr. of Cleveland, OH, and Caron Simpson of Atlanta, GA; two great-grandchildren, Shiloh Dube of Atlanta, GA, and Peyton Dube’ of Charlotte, NC; close friend, Belinda Brewer; as well as host nieces, nephews, cousins, and other precious relatives and friends.
