It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Sandra Neal, age 78, who departed this life on December 30, 2024. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Born on March 15, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio, Patricia was the beloved daughter of Theodore Solomon Jr. and Melvie Solomon (Jones). She graduated from the Cleveland Public School System.
Her life was a testament to love, resilience, and devotion to her family.
Patricia was the cherished wife of Willie Lee Neal Sr., and together they built a legacy of love and family.
Pat and Willie met on Quincy Avenue when she was 14 years old. Willie went into the military and Two years later, Pat married him and willingly followed him abroad. Upon their return to Cleveland Pat began her career with VA hospital where she retired.
She was the proud mother of Maliya McMillon, Willie Lee Neal Jr., and Tarikah Neal. Patricia found immense joy in her role as grandmother to Lallonie, Willie “Scoot,” India, and Thomas, all children of Tarikah, as well as Armon Lee Neal and Davonna Johnson, children of Willie (Lee) Neal Jr. Her love extended to her great-grandchildren Xariyah, Xakiyah, and Zaire, who brought her endless happiness and pride.
Patricia will be remembered for her warm spirit, unwavering strength, and the love she shared with all who knew her. Her legacy lives on through her family, whose lives she enriched with her guidance and care.
Patricia leaves to mourn her husband, Willie Neal Sr.; her children, Mailya, Tarikah and Willie Jr. who preceeded her in death; six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren; her sisters, Catherine (Kitty) Sweet Marvinia Nickens and Vanessa Spears; and a host of nieces and nephews and family and friends.
She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of her family and friends.
