Paul was born in Akron, OH, on June 20, 1942, to parents, Ernest and Margaret Peacock. The family moved to Copley, OH, in 1950. Paul attended Copley Schools, kindergarten through High School. Paul worked as a mechanic for several automotive businesses, including Tom Farabough, B.F. Goodrich, VanDevere Oldsmobile, and Klaben Dodge. Paul was hired by the U.S. Postal Service in 1988 as a Mechanic and retired in February 2020. Paul loved working on cars and most times he could listen to a motor running and tell what the problem was. He also loved football and basketball.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ernest Jr. and Larry; and sister, Helen Jackson.

He leaves to mourn his passing, sisters, Elizabeth Grant, Marva Grant, Phyllis Jami, Beverly Babb, and Karen Peacock; along with a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of family and friends.

Sorry for your loss, I worked with Paul and he was a great man. My favorite co-worker, I wish I could have had more time working with him.

Uncle Paul, you will be missed. You had the Peacock trait of working hard and being dependable to your work and dependable to your family. I believe you had put your hands on 1/4 of all vehicles in the Akron region. I remember riding in the Super Bee with the air in my face and looking down seeing the street underneath my feet Because there was a hole in the floor board! It was a good time and you were a great uncle. Rest in peace!

Uncle Paul was always a quiet soul, but a hard worker. All my memories are of him working on cars either at Grandma's or Aunt Marva's house. It wasn't until I was older that I got a taste of his sense of humor. Praying for my mother, aunts and family through this difficult time. Love Sheelah

Paul was a great, great person. He taught me a lot about cars. Was always careful for what he would say to someone.. I can't believe he is gone. I will truly miss him. Just talked to him a few weeks ago. Rest In Peace my brother.

Uncle Paul, I going to miss your warm smile and sometimes his face impression makes me, laugh. I going to miss you at lot.

What all around nice guy Paul was.. He was a man of very words but always up for good laugh !! He will be missed by many.
