Pearl Roddy, age 69 went home to be with the Lord on September 10, 2020.

Pearl leaves to cherish her memories of her life: Her husband Nolan Roddy of Cleveland, OH, her sons’ Jolando (Tiffany) Sims and Nolan Roddy II (deceased), daughters’ Tangie Sims and Marquita Roddy. Brothers: Eddie Lee (Christine) Sharpe, James Henry (Annie Jewell) Sharpe,  both of Fort Deposit, AL, Virginia Sharpe-Avery (George/deceased) of Cleveland, OH, Classie Westmoreland (Walter) of Mobile, AL, Teresa Sharpe of Cleveland, OH, Willie Pearl (Henry/deceased) Johnson of Birmingham, AL, Emmaline (James) Means of Montgomery, AL,  Dorothy Cox of Atlanta, GA, Beverly Sellers (Los Angeles), Sonia Nettles of California, Olabell Rudolph of Fort Deposit, AL and Thearthur (Carolyn/deceased) Sellers Jr. of Birmingham, AL. She has a total of 11 sisters and brothers who preceded her in death: Annie Mae Wright (deceased), Emily (Charlie) Perdue (deceased),  Flisher (Lonnie/deceased) Depriest (deceased) Frank (Cathy) Sharpe (deceased), Clarence Sharpe (deceased), William Sharpe Jr. (deceased), Joe Sharpe (deceased), Jerry Sharpe (deceased), Jessie Sharpe (deceased), Fred Sharpe (deceased), Walter (Clara) Sharpe (deceased). Pearl was a great grandmother who also leaves to cherish 16 grand-children (Paisley and Keontae (deceased), three great-grandchildren, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, friends, and close sister-friends.
