Pearlean Owens, age 74, was born December 1, 1948, in Louisville, Alabama to the Loving Lillie Mae and Robert Lee Owens. Pearlean attended Howe Elementary, West Jr. High, and Sough High School.

She moved to Detroit in the early 80’s and returned back to Akron. Pearlean was a dedicated worker at the Brown Derby where she worked until they closed.

Pearlean was preceded in death by her parents Lillie Mae and Robert Lee Owens. daughter, Kassandra Jean Owens Peace; son, Billy Owens. sisters; Dazarine Owens, Barbara Brown, Lillian Brooks, Lucille Owens, nephews and nieces.

She leaves to cherish her memory sons, Michael Owens and Wayne Taylor. Grandsons Dawayne, DeMichael, DeRale Peace; sisters Jeridean Chance, Helen Mae Warren Brown, Lynette Owens, and Catherine Teah. A host of great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
