Pedethia M. Kindall-Epps, affectionally known as “Dee-Dee,” made a peaceful transition to her Heavenly Father and home on March 27,2022.
Pedethia M. Kindall-Epps was born on January 10, 1961, to William and Ruth Kindall. She was a lifetime resident of Akron, OH., graduating from John R. Buchtel High School.
Throughout her years she served on the Board of Nurses at New Trinity Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member as well. Pedethia took much pride in being the manager of her family-owned business “Club Wonder.” In her free time, she loved traveling the world, shopping, eating, and spending time with her grands, great-grandchildren, and club members – who she considers her family. She had a love for dancing, singing, and listening to the blues. Whenever she walked in any room, she was the life of the party with her smile and many jokes she had for, “you personally.” To know her was to love her.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Kindall; sons, Kenyonn Sr., and Bouchard Kindall; daughter, the famous Lela May Kindall-Epps.
She is survived by her father, William Kindall; brother, Anthony Kindall; companion in life, Donold “DJ” Jackson; bonus daughters, Markisha McAlister and Felicia Griffin; grandchildren, Marcus “Rah” Mcalister, Chardaysha “Day-Day” Kindall, Tachara Little, Laneya Hardiman, Kenyonn “Fur-Fur” Jr., Cirya’ “Ry-Ry” Kindall, and 6 great-grandchildren; special aunt, Lena (James) Mack; special cousins, Penny Dodds and Martha Lois Davis; God sisters, Sonya (Larry “Dawg”) Strong, Arminda “Minda” Daniels, and Shelia Wilcox; special brother, Marvin “Chicken” Jones; lifetime friend, Lester Epps; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
