Precious M. Lykes was born September 19,1980 in Cleveland, Ohio to Doris Nash Sims and Lloyd Lykes, whom both preceded her in death.

Precious attended Cleveland Public Schools and continue her education studies at American InterContinental University for Business Administration.

She was always able to connect to people through her employment of customer service position at various companies. Precious employment at PNC Bank as an Operational Analyst gave her the opportunity to make a difference in the workplace, always willing to help and go over and beyond for resolutions.

She was the proud founder of Lady Dee’s Weddings & Event Planning, a business named in honor of her beloved mother, Doris Nash Sims. Through her creativity and attention to detail, Precious helped others celebrate some of life’s most cherished moments.

Precious was a woman full of life, laughter, and love. She had a deep passion for cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. Known for her warmth and magnetic personality, she built a vibrant online social community where she connected with others through games and conversations about current events.

A lover of ladies’ nights, good spirits, and comedy movies, Precious knew how to turn a simple evening into a memory. Precious spare time was spent binge watching Netflix movies, spending time with her nephew Jasper and her cousins.

Even in death, Precious gave the gift of life to others as an organ donor to continue their life here on earth.

Precious departed this life on May 9, 2025, at University Hospital of Cleveland at 1:52pm

Precious leaves to cherish her memories, Stepfather: Robert Sims, Sister: Kennyada Nash and Joy Lykes, Nephew: Jasper Wilson, Niece: Iyanna Cannon, her cherished bird Jake, and a host of aunties, uncles and cousins.
