Katherine Myles left a message on January 7, 2026:
My heartfelt condolences and prayers to the family. Ms Banks helped to bring my daughter in to the world at Brentwood hospital. (1985). I was young and scared as a new mother, my delivery was very challenging but she stayed by my side. During my 7 day stay post delivery she asked me what do I want to do as a career. I said, I always wanted to be a nurse. She said, I tell you what… if you go to school to be a nurse, I will give you a job. Well, let me tell you… I did just that and Ms Banks kept her word. She gave me my first job as an LPN in OB at Brentwood Hospital!! I will never forget her and use our story to motivate my patients and as a part of my story as to why I became e nurse. I have since became an RN with a master’s degree and a doctorate and an attribute this to Ms. Banks from Brentwood Hospital. Kathy
