Quran Goma Akida

Quran Akida, also known as Sherard Waldo Blue, passed away
peacefully on Wednesday, September 22nd, 2021 at 8:30A.M
surrounded by family.
He was born on August 11, 1956 in Birmingham, Alabama to the
parents of Cora and James Blue. Quran’s family relocated to
Akron, Ohio where he attended Bryant Elementary, Jennings Junior
High, and North High School.
Quran worked the majority of his professional career at
Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company until retirement. He
returned home to Akron, OH where he enjoyed spending time
with his family and friends. Quran worshiped and was a member
at the House of the Lord. He loved fancy cars and dressing
sharp.
Quran was preceded in death by his father, Jaes Blue; brother,
Karl T. Blue; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Blue; uncle, John Cook;
aunts, Galleana Keaton Liatresia McClain.
Quran will be remembered with love by his wonderful mother,
Cora Blue; sisters, Gatesthrea Blue, Vickie Blue and Cecilia Blue of
Akron, OH; brother, Goma Bahati of Dayton OH and a host of
nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
