Raeshone Ann Lee was born on March 14, 1956 to Cora Lee and John Johnson. At birth, her weight was 3 pounds and 1 ounce. Consequently, she spent the first two months of her life at the hospital, and she finally went home from the hospital in May of 1956. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized on May 12th, 1966 at Zion Hill Baptist Church.
Raeshone attended Cleveland Public Schools and was a proud graduate of John F. Kennedy High School in 1973. You would often hear her say, “We are the Eagles, the Mighty, Mighty, Eagles!” After high school, Raeshone briefly attended Cleveland State University.
In 1974, Raeshone started a long career at the United States Postal Service, starting at the downtown facility. She was a clerk for 37 years and during that time she worked on the machines, as well as worked as a window clerk at several stations. She happily retired from the Post Office in 2011.
Raeshone met Ronald Malone, and they were married in 1975. Together, they had one daughter, Charla Marie in 1976. Their marriage ended and Raeshone later met Robert Bradley and Brandon Jamel, her only son, was born in 1985.
Later in life, she re-committed herself to the church and became a member of Everlasting Covenant Ministries, under the guidance of Pastor Lisa Jarrell.
Raeshone was an avid bowler and spent many years in bowling leagues and participating in bowling tournaments. She enjoyed family and friends and was often the life of the party. Listening to music is something that she loved. She also loved to eat and would happily tell you so! She was a diehard Cleveland Browns fan, and “Are you ready for some football?” was one of her favorite Sunday sayings. She was good for a laugh in any situation and made sure that she stayed in contact with all of her family and friends, no matter how near or far.
Raeshone left this world to be with the Lord on February 22, 2022. Both of her parents preceded her in death. She leaves behind: one brother, Gregory Johnson, of Cleveland, Ohio; two children: Charla Malone, daughter, and Brandon Malone, son (Alyshia); seven grandchildren: Christian, Armond, Ameer, Mikaylah, Kaleb, Bra’Niyah and Bri’Elle; two aunts: Mary Rowdy, of Cleveland, Ohio, and Viola Terrell, of Columbus, Ohio, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, family, friends, and extended family.
