“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
With hearts filled with love and gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we celebrate the life and legacy of Ramona Louise Jofferion, affectionately known as “Mona,” “Blu Babe,” and lovingly called “Auntie Mo” by the many whose lives she touched. Ramona was called home to be with the Lord on June 21, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of unwavering faith, selfless love, and quiet strength.
Born on November 27, 1959, in Alexandria, Louisiana, Ramona was the beloved daughter of Lee L. Rosenthal and Irma Scott Rosenthal, both of whom preceded her in death. She later made her home in Warrensville Heights, Ohio, where she devoted her life to her family, faith, career, and community.
Ramona graduated from John Adams High School before continuing her education at Notre Dame College of Business. She built a distinguished career, serving with BP Oil, Ernst & Whinney, and later spending 17 years with Progressive Insurance in management and underwriting. Though she briefly pursued opportunities in Chicago, her love for family brought her back home to Ohio.
While she enjoyed a successful career, Ramona’s greatest joy was creating a loving home. She had a remarkable gift for decorating, sewing, upholstering, and crafting, transforming every space into one of warmth and welcome. Caring for her beloved mother in her later years was one of her greatest acts of love and a reflection of her servant’s heart.
Family was the center of Ramona’s world. She especially cherished hosting Thanksgiving, creating a treasured tradition that brought generations together around one table. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love.
Ramona accepted Christ at an early age and faithfully served the church as an Office Secretary, Usher, and Vacation Bible School teacher. Her generous spirit was known by all who loved her. Family and friends often said, “If you needed it, and she had it, it was yours.” She gave freely of her time, talents, and love, always putting others before herself.
Ramona leaves to cherish her precious memory her devoted son, Dante Jofferion; her beloved daughter-in-law, Sunita Jofferion; and her four cherished grandchildren, Isaac, Ethan, Joanna, and Jada, who were the light of her life.
She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings: Patrick Rosenthal (Debra), Patricia Oliver (Nate), Rena Gayle Victoria-Boss, Debra Hamelin, Gwendolyn Martin, Irma Wright (Floyd), and Zelda Gordon (Joey); sixteen nieces and nephews; countless grandnieces and grandnephews who affectionately knew her as “Auntie Mo”; her extended Scott family in Ohio; her Rosenthal family in Louisiana; and a host of relatives, dear friends, neighbors, and loved ones.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in knowing that Ramona’s legacy lives on through the family she cherished, the faith she embodied, and the countless lives she touched. She taught us that life’s greatest legacy is found not in what we possess, but in how deeply we love.
Well done, good and faithful servant.
Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever missed.
