Raymond Anthony Cage, Sr. passed away on October 23, 2019. He was born on October 19, 1938, in Akron, OH to the late Booker Cage and Vivian McGregor-Shelly. Raymond served valiantly in the United States Army and returned home to marry the love of his life, Loretta Byrd. He retired after working at Chrysler and St. Thomas Hospital. He found that his biggest joy in life was helping others in A.A. (Alcoholics Anonymous). He loved counseling and assisting others in fighting their addictions, often even opening his home to those in need or struggling.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorretta; sisters, Barbera Cage (Bell), Patricia Cage (Hall); brother, Jimmy Cage.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Raymond (Malissa) Cage Jr. and Rolena McGee; and host of nephews, nieces, and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a huge host of friends and additional family.
