Renal (Sutton) Williams, lovingly known to most as Renae was born April 26, 1949, at City (Metro) Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio to Lottie Mae (Landrum) Sutton and Veo Sutton, Sr., both preceded her in death. Renae grew up with her brother Veo (June Bug) Sutton, Jr., who also preceded her in death and her sister, Lillie Stanford. Renae attended and graduated from Glenville High School in Cleveland Ohio. After high school Renae married her high school sweetheart, Raymond Williams, Jr., who preceded her in death. To this union their only child was born, Raynal Yvette (Williams) Moore in Cleveland, OH. After working as a Pharmacist Technician at Wade Park Pharmacy and VA Hospital Renae enrolled at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) to earn her LPN, EKG Technician, and Phlebotomist technician licenses.
Renae was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and dear friend. She was a beautiful person who was caring, thoughtful and extremely giving, and was not shy about speaking her mind.
Renae retired from the United States Postal Service and later went on to work at St. Vincent Charity Hospital. She was currently working at Suburban Transportation as a school bus monitor and at The Baby University, where all the children adored her.
Renae loved going on Cruises, cooking for her loved ones, hanging out with her closest friends and family (especially at Rudy’s Pub), and looked forward to attending services at Beulah Missionary Baptist Church on Cardinal Avenue, where she was a member. But as much as she loved being around friends and family, she greatly appreciated her independence.
Renal leaves to mourn her loss a daughter, Raynal Moore, a son-in-law, Kevin Moore, and her two grandchildren, Mekkah and Amir of Cincinnati, OH. She also leaves her sister, Lillie Stanford, her brother-in-law, Larry Matthews, two nieces, Raichelle Hollowell Sutton and Lottie Lester, a nephew, Rufus Lester, and a host of very close family and friends.
