Life Story of Rev. Ernest T. Hickman
Rev. Ernest T. Hickman went home to be with the Lord on, May 1st, 2022.
Rev. Earnest was born April 21st, 1930, in Louisville, Mississippi to the late Rev. Ernest Hickman Sr. and Bessie Mae Hickman. He was a great Father, Grandfather and Reverend. He was a man who loved the Lord with his whole heart. He accepted Christ an early age. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church. Rev. was married to Ophelia Hickman for many years until they were separated at death. He raised 3 wonderful Kim Hickman, Paul Nash, Jay Hickman.
His biggest hobby was Woodwork. He also enjoyed playing the keyboard even though he could not hold a tune. He accomplished everything he set his hands and mind to do. Rev. Ernest was licensed in the Lord’s Church in February 1999. In January 2002 he was Ordained in the Lord’s Church. He was a very stern man who had strong convictions and beliefs. Everything he said and did there was a purpose behind it.
Rev. Ernest was a smooth man who can make you laugh and guide you to do the right thing at the same time. He valued education, which led him to make sure his children and grandchildren to pursue greatness.
Rev. Ernest T. Hickman Jr was proceeded in death by his parents, Rev. Ernest Hickman Sr. and Bessie Mae Hickman, His wife Ophelia Hickman, Brother Bert C. Hickman, Sister-in-law Christine Hickman, 1st cousin Thomas Green.
He leaves to cherish his great memories his children, Kim, Paul, Jay, Minister Michael T. Green 1st cousin. Grandchildren, Santana Hickman, D’Angela Applewhite, D’Angelo Applewhite, Angela Carter, Tracy Greene, Natalie Taylor, Lisa Carter, Joe Carter his care giver and companion who was always by his side and many Great grandchildren. Along with other family and friends.
