Richard D. Bel, Sr. passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019.
Richard Dale Bell, Sr. was born on June 6, 1951, in Montgomery, Alabama.
Richards father Jesse Bell, Sr. was known as the “Ice Man” throughout Montgomery. He owned an ice delivery business, which distributed ice to local stores, taverns and fuel stations. Richards mother, Aletha Bell was a stay at home mom who worked diligently to raise Richard along with his three siblings.
Richards parents always made sure that their children were raised with proper morals and Christian values he kept these lessons with him all of his life. He started working at an early age, as he would ride along with his father the “Ice Man” as he delivered Ice to their clients. When he came of age, Richard worked in the field of maintenance until he was forced to stop working due to health issues. Richard was married in 2000 to wife Dionne R. Bell and they had one daughter, Za’Rhyea D’Renee Bell who he loved and cherished more than life itself.
Richard was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Bell, Sr., mother Aletha Bell; sister Mildred, brother Jesse Bell, Jr. and brother Robert Bell.
He leaves to forever cherish his memory his loving faithful wife of 19 years, Dionne Bell, his precious gift from God, daughter, Za’Rhyea D’Renee Bell, children from a previous marriage, Sarah (Billy) Beaman, Richard Dale (Tina) Bell, Jr., Victoria Bell, Jackie Bell, Dalesha Bell; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; special niece Mary Davis, earth angel Jennifer Davis and a host of other relatives and friends.
