Richard Frank Taylor Sr., was born on March 6, 1944 and fell asleep in death on September 25, 2017.
He was born in Akron, OH and had been a resident of Ohio for over seventy years. Richard worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company working as a tire and spring builder for 25 years, retiring in 1992. Richard and Rosie were married August 29, 1964 and shared fifty-three beautiful years together. Out of this union were born three children, Deanne, Deneen and Richard (Rico) (Shadi) Taylor Jr.
Richard was a family man and loved the ministry, it came first, and everything else was second, which was football, fishing, watching old cowboy movies. He was a serious man, but also had a great sense of humor. There was never a dull moment when you were in his presence. He also loved history, which was bible and secular. Richard was a member of the Thornton Congregation and a regular pioneer for sixteen years and enjoyed going on Bible Study and teaching people from publications about Gods Kingdom.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Virgie Taylor; sister Norma Lamb and brother William (Tate) Taylor.
He leaves to cherish his memory loving wife Rosie; their children; brother, Robert Taylor; brothers-in-law, Henry Baddley of Akron, OH, Stan Baddley of Lima, OH; aunt Deloris Humbert of Akron, OH; childhood friend over seventy years, William Lane of Kentucky, spiritual brother and friend Darryl Edward and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
