Robert Fidel Johnson-Wright, affectionately known as Fidel, was born on December 14, 1962, to James and Ernestine Johnson in Cleveland, Ohio. Fidel accepted Christ at an early age, attended John F. Kennedy High School, and proudly served his country in the United States Army.
A true entrepreneur and jack of all trades, Fidel was known for his strong work ethic, determination, and ability to succeed in whatever he pursued. He was a devoted and loving husband to Donnia Williams-Wright. The couple relocated to Clearwater, Florida, in 2002 and were united in marriage on April 4, 2004, sharing a life rooted in love and commitment.

Robert Fidel Johnson-Wright was called home on January 24, 2026, in Clearwater, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ernestine Johnson; his nephew, Andre Wright; his brother-in-law, Victor Williams; and his sister-in-law, Barbara Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Donnia Williams-Wright; his children, Brandon, Nakiah, Tacara, Barbara (Dave), Dianca (Kevin), D’Mante (Paula), Robert (Nancy), Tammara, Brianna, Brittany, Demetriua (Terry), and Tiauna; and his grandchildren, Tamiah, Robert Jr., Kennedy, Brandon Jr., Derinan, Khyan, Diego, Teion, Rayden, Dhemi, Andrea, Raniyah, Khyre, Eddie, Jade, and Evie.
He is also survived by his sisters, Salena Hughes and Sonja Harris; his in-laws, Diane, Robin (Kevin), Cindy (Greg), Darrelle (Nicole), Carmen (Jamal), Jalana, and Jamon; a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones, and his beloved dog, Snowball.
Fidel will be lovingly remembered for his faith, leadership, generosity and the lasting impact he made on everyone blessed to know him.
