Robert Hudson Jr was born to the late Catherine Hill and Robert Hudson Sr. on November 6, 1942.

Robert accepted Christ at an early age.

Robert and Mary Louise were married for 32 years.

Robert was raised in Cincinnati Ohio where he attended school there. He moved to Cleveland Ohio where he worked at Mt Saini hospital in the morgue department. Then he worked at Ford Motor Company in Lorain Ohio from 1972 to 2005 and retired. Robert was a dedicated hard-working man who just enjoyed life and providing for his family and entertaining his friends.  Robert was a sports fan of all kinds, always talking noise as we all know. Robert had the best penmanship for being a leftie as he called himself and states right-handed folks cannot write well. He loved to travel cross country from Cleveland to Las Vegas and Florida and anywhere else by car. He was definitely the life of the party. Playing spades and Bid Whist and always had to win no matter what. Playing his daily lottery and would win on occasion. He will truly be missed.

We have so many nick names for Robert such as Bobby, Hudson, Hut, Uncle Fuzz, and the list goes on. One thing about Robert, he is going to fuss about something, and you all know that. He meant well lol.

Robert was also known for drinking his morning cup of tea (2 cups) along with his newspaper, and sausage or bacon, egg, and toast sandwich.

Robert was known as a sweet eater like store brought cakes and cupcakes with (Buttercream icing). Let us not forget his snacks like pretzels, cheese its, popcorn, Welch’s gummy fruit snacks, Popsicles, drinking his Pepsi and Welch’s fruit juices, and loved his Heineken Beer.

Those who preceded Robert in death Mary Louise Hudson wife, his parents Robert Hudson Sr, Catherine Hill, Daughter Shelia Dent, Grandmother Mama Lucille and Grandfather Clarence Higgins, sister’s Lucile (Lulu) Jones, Barbara Battles, Florita Hudson, Vickie Hudson, brother’s Douglas Ross, 1^st cousin Oliver Hitchcock, Michael Hill. Sister-in-law Betty Bass and Father-in-law Richard Bass and Mother-In-law Mary Bass, Family friend Shirley Williams, Host of Uncle and Aunts who have all proceed in his death.

Robert leaves forever to cherish his precious memory, 3 children: Robert Andre (Sabrina,) Monica Carter, Richard Bass, Tiandrea aka Pumkin (Adrian). 16 grandkids and 14 great grand kids, brother’s Donald Hudson (Mattie), Stepbrothers, Ronald Hill, Kenneth Hill, sister’s Gail Hudson and Tonya Lynn Hudson, stepsisters Jeanette Hill and Karen Roundtree, best friends Valorie, LeNell, Sonnie, and Spunky, sister in law’s Marsha Bass, Carmetta Bass, Linda Bass, and brother-in-law Jerome Bass. All his cousin was incredibly special to him along with his aunt and Uncles. Friends

Special Thanks for Kenneth and Tammy (next door neighbors who always looked out for Robert in cooking meals and making sure he was okay daily). Brian (The computer man) who always fixed Robert’s computer needs, and Big Mama from Ford Motor Company in Lorain, Ohio and all the Ford crew past and present.
