Robert is survived by his beloved wife Thelma Nelson, seven children; Lamont, Ingrid, Natalie, Vivian, Robbin, Bobby, Marcus; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and two siblings: Betty Broadnax and Naomi Turner.
Robert was a devoted father, city worker, and honest man. He believed in family, work, togetherness and honesty.
He was loved by all and will be missed.
