Robin Renee (Treece) Mennefee was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 29th, 1964 to the late Robert Treece and Alice Treece.

Robin attended Cleveland Central Catholic High School class of 1982. Robin never let us forget that she was THE Prom Queen her senior year. After high school, she attended the Cleveland Academy of Court Reporting where she graduated in 1984 and started a job in Cincinnati, Ohio as a Stenographer. She has worked in many professions throughout her life – However, she dedicated 25 years of service to The Cleveland Clinic where she served and acquired many accolades as a Medical Secretary.

Robin would have proudly celebrated 32 years of sobriety on January 16, 2025. She was a staple at Kaiser East and within the AA community. Robin eagerly sponsored and mentored many women in the community. She attended many women’s conferences all over the world with “GG4L” during her 32 years of sobriety. Robin frequently shared her extraordinary testimony of experience, strength and hope to everyone that she could.

In 2019, she married Jerry Mennefee – her ride or die – in a beautiful, quaint ceremony. Robin loved spending time with family, traveling, and of course, shopping. Her weekends often consisted of going shopping with her mother Alice and daughter Jazmine. Robin was a strong believer in her faith and was a dedicated member of New Life Cathedral church, where she became a deaconess.

Sadly, Robin departed this life on January 10, 2025, due to a long and aggressive battle with breast cancer. Everyone that knows Robin knows that she gave her all and fought hard. She departed this life with her husband, children and brothers by her side.   Robin leaves to cherish and celebrate her life: Husband, Jerry Mennefee; Two children, Joseph Treece and Jazmine Carter (Devonte’); Stepson Malachi; Five grandchildren (Joseph, Ahmad, Ayden, Joey, and Avery); three brothers, Robert (Carmen), Vincent and Kevin, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins in Arizona and Tennessee.
