In Loving Memory of Roena Syers
Roena Syers (February 6, 1952 – March 11, 2026), at the age of 74, brought joy and love to all who knew her. She cherished cooking for others, watching scary and sci-fi movies, feeding the birds, and caring for the outside critters that always found their way to her. Born to Melvina and Kenneth Hamrick, Roena lived in Fairport, Ohio, before retiring to Stone Creek, Ohio, with her husband, Timothy Syers. She is survived by her husband, Timothy Syers; her children, Michael George Stanescu Jr., Lillie Ann Pearlman, and Sheradowa Marie Washington; her nine beloved grandchildren; and her siblings, Connie Nabora and Jeff Hamrick. She was preceded in death by her sister, Carol-Jean Meredith, and her brother, Kenneth Hamrick. Her love and spirit will remain with us forever. ❤️
