Ronald Lee Jofferion was born on August 30, 1958, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Willie Ralph Sr. and Bessie Mae Jofferion. The second of four siblings, Ronald was called home to be with the Lord on January 2, 2026.
At an early age, Ronald -affectionately known as Ron or Ronnie- accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized as a member of Providence Baptist Church. He later joined Morning Star Baptist Church, where he served faithfully on the Trustee Board. Ron graduated from Warrensville Heights High School and continued his education at Kent State University. On August 9, 1986, he was united in holy matrimony with Denise Griffie, his devoted wife of 39 years. Together, they built a loving home and raised a beautiful family.
Ron was known for his kindness, quick wit, and dedication to helping others. He loved golf and enjoyed sharing the game with friends and mentoring young players. Ron began his career in banking, later working in sales, before finding his true calling in automotive sales, where he spent most of his professional life. Respected for his integrity and professionalism, he built lasting relationships and took pride in mentoring new sales professionals. After retiring in 2024, Ron cherished time with his family and especially enjoyed playing dominos, one of his favorite pastimes.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Ralph Sr. and Bessie Mae Jofferion. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Denise; his children, Dwayne Williams (Bethany), Danielle Henton, Kenyuana Jofferion-Hardnett (Jamal), and Timmothy Jofferion; siblings, Willie Jofferion Jr. (Diane), Reginald Jofferion (Barbara), and Renee Harber (William); grandchildren, Brylin, Kennah, Xzavier, Alexis, and Shay; and his great-granddaughter, Charlie. He will also be remembered fondly by his aunts, uncle, mother-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
We rejoice in the blessed assurance that Ron now rests in the presence of the Lord. “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:21)
