Ronald Rodgers was born on January 6, 1956, to Evelyn Rodgers and Clifford Rodgers. Ronald,
“Ronnie” as he was best known through family, was the fifth child but third son born to Evelyn Jackson Rodgers.
Ronnie was educated through the Cleveland Public School District where he attended East High school.
Dison, as his friends called him, was very much into remodeling and rehabilitation. He received countless awards for his service by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Cleveland Housing Network, and the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency. He practiced his trade as a carpenter for over forty years. He worked part-time for R &T towing as a tow truck operator who is affiliated with AAA until his passing.
Ronnie would love to unwind and let loose at his top-notch favorite bar, 49th street Tavern, where he met, enjoyed, and eternalized a host of friends who loved him dearly and are present with us today.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Rodgers; mother, Evelyn Rodgers; big sister Brenda Jackson, big brother Steven Rodgers and little brother Marvin Rodgers.
He leaves to cherish his memory his big sister Patricia (Darrell -deceased), and big brother Nelson (Peggy); nieces, Shondra (Arthur-deceased), Sharon, Freda, Ebony (Ronald), Cydney, and Marchae; nephews, Marlon (Lisa), Darrick, Steve, and Myron; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, and beloved friends.
