Our Mother was FIERCELY INDEPENDENT and DEFIANT until the end. She could also be a
little “SPICY” at times. She spoke her mind and you always knew where you stood with her,
good or bad. She loved us with that same passion. She walked her own path and taught each of
us to do the same. She really did enjoy her life to the fullest! She loved to “chair dance” and
more frequently would actually get up and hit us with her special two step to her favorite music
to let us know she still had it! She also enjoyed spending time with the many, many dogs she
had over the years.
She was a great cook! Known for her homemade, baked, mac and cheese!! She loved to bake
cakes and pies and all were delicious. Her specialty cake was German Chocolate. Her favorite
holidays were Thanksgiving and the 4th of July. She would put out quite a spread and a good
time was had by all in attendance.
She was an avid card player. Bid whist was a favorite as most of you know and many of you
here today probably sat in with her for quite a few.
She was also known to enjoy her beverages. Gin and Cranberry was her “go to” and it was
usually how she capped off her day or when she was having a good time with family and friends
or enjoying her favorite music and singers.
Mama received her Wings on 8 April 2025, Richmond Ohio, She leaves behind (4) children:
Claudette Brown (Warren Deceased), Ralph Hall, Jerry Hall and Mark Wynn (Ivette), (6) Step
daughters: Pricilla Johnson (John), Janice Robinson (James Deceased), Carol Brown (Charles),
Aya Wynn (Amad), Gay Wynn, and Anita Pruitt. (2) Step Sons: Arthur P. Wynn Jr. and Bernard
Bonner (preceded her in death)
While we each had our own special relationship with her, her grandbabies were the joys of her
life. She leaves behind: 13 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great
Grandchild and a host of other family and friends
