Roosevelt Hollins, age 86, went home to be with the Lord on April 25, 2020. Roosevelt is survived by his beloved wife Nancy E. Hollins; seven children; Jeanette Hollins, Roosevelt Hollins Jr., Andrew D. Hollins (Nicole J.), Annette Hollins, Jerome Hollins, Anita Hollins, Juliette Howard (Michael), Crystal Roberson and Angel Simmons. Parents- Booker T Hollins and Corrine Binion (Deceased). Surviving sibling Nettie Binion. Siblings who preceded him in death-Minnie Lee Brandy, Corrine Alfred, Atta Mae Ulmer, Elizabeth Neal, Alberta Hawkins, and brother George Binion. Grandchildren- Linda Hollins, Jennifer A. Towner, Broderick R. Barnes (Natasha), Ciara E. Almond (Marteese), Tiona Maxie, Nate Maxie, Andrew Maxie, Brandon Hollins (Natassia), Andrew D. Hollins (Riyah), Darius Hollins (Cierra), Bradagan Hollins, Shanita Hollins, Marcus White, Anthony T. Hollins, Terence L. Hollins and a host of Great & great great grandchildren; along with nieces and nephews.

Thank you Roosevelt for coming into our lives. You made my cousin Nancy so very happy. I sat in my office to watch your home going service but I wanted to be there. Thank you to the Hollins family for sharing Roosevelt with us. Thank you to Brain, who was an outstanding caregiver, who was a constant being at many of the Woodard family picnics.
