Rose Marie (White) Thomas was born on January 17, 1943 in Montgomery, Alabama. She was the daughter of Carrie Bell Thomas, and the eldest of six siblings, Fred Jr. “Freddie” (deceased), Bernard (deceased), Gloria (deceased) and Donald (deceased).
At a young age, Rose Marie moved to Cleveland, OH. She received her education from East Tech High School and Jane Addison Nursing School.
Rose Marie enjoyed sewing. She enjoyed it so much that she even designed and sewed her own wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses. She also loved music, dancing and spending time with her family.
She was loving, sassy and always kept a positive attitude. Her warm presence would light up any room, and was a joy to be around.
Rose Marie was the mother of three children, Leisha Marie, Charles “Chucky” Norman (Sharrona), and Marcus Anthony; and the beloved wife of William Thomas, for 47 years.
Along with her husband and children she also leaves behind her brother, Andrew “Andy”; six grandchildren, Cori, Chelsea (Matthew), Hannah, Marcus Jr., Shamir and Chancelor; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones who cherish and celebrate her life.
