In Loving Memory of Rosemary Billings
Rosemary was born on January 14 1953, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Willie Mae Billings. Rosemary attended and graduated from John Adams High School; She was a self-made woman who built fences with care and dedication, pouring strength and integrity into every post she set. Rosemary lived a life rooted in love, faith, and family. She loved to listen to music and dance, her favorite artist were the Temptations, Isley Brothers, Mary J. Blige, and the Ghetto Boys, amongst many more, to know her was to experience warmth, wisdom, and unconditional love and care. Her home was always open, and her heart was always full of love for her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Rosemary departed this life on February 9, 2026. She was the heart of her family, a guiding light whose strength and prayers carried generations. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she poured into them with stories, laughter, guidance, and endless encouragement. She had a special way of making each person feel seen, valued, and deeply loved. During her pass time she enjoyed going back and forth with her son Tank, they were affectionately named “Fred and Lamont” by the family.
Whether through family gatherings, holiday traditions, or quiet moments of advice, Grandma created memories that will live on forever. Her legacy is one of kindness, resilience, faith, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.
She leaves to cherish her memory her siblings, Earl Billings (Denise) of California, and Douglas Billings of Las Vegas, her children, Kimberlee Marie Bell (Xavier, Sr.), Roy Edward Williams, Jr. stepsons, Denver Williams of Atlanta, Georgia and Denzel Williams of Cleveland, Ohio grandchildren, Ra’Mone De’Shawn Billings (ViChelle), Xavier Gorice Bell, Jr., Aalliyah Royal-Bey, her Bonus granddaughter Shamiya, nieces Taylor and Dawn Billings all of Cleveland, Ohio, along with a host of extended family and many dear friends especially Sam. She was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Mae Billings.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that her love surrounds us still. Her lessons remain in our hearts, her voice echoes in our memories, and her legacy lives on through every generation she helped shape.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished. 🤍
