Roy Foster Williams Jr., also known as Junior, was born on October 10, 1936 to the union of Annie Belle Bush and Roy Williams in Springdale, AK.
Roy was raised in Earle, AK, and left Arkansas at the early age of 21 with very little education. Despite his education, he was determined to find a better life. Roy came to Ohio and began to work all types of jobs in order to make it. He would work from morning until night being a handyman, his work included construction jobs, hauling, demolition, lawncare, etc.
Once Junior arrived to Akron, Ohio, a dear friend had helped him with his application that landed him a job working for the State of Ohio in the laundry department. He fulfilled his duties as a pickup and delivery driver until his retirement in 2015. Though retired, he was still a true handyman at heart and always found new ways to keep busy.
Junior had a love for his recliner, western movies, and Gun Smoke.
You could not have met a more fun loving person than “Roy.” A truly humorous person, he was known to put smiles on people’s faces or make someone laugh. He was always talking that talk.
