Sabrena Blevins was born on November 28, 1965 in Cleveland, Ohio to Esther and Oliver Blevins who preceded her in death. Sabrena departed this earth on the morning of April 20, 2024.
Sabrena was a Christian. She graduated from East High School. She worked a variety of jobs from a custodial worker to a health care worker. Before departing this earth, she worked at Custom Rubber. Sabrena was a dedicated worker for 25 years.
Sabrena had five children: Timothy, Tommy, Abner, Sabena, and Whitney Blevins. Sabrena had 27 grandchildren. She loved her children with all her heart. Providing for them and giving them beneficial knowledge to living life.
Sabrena joined a union with Benjamin Mitchell, and they raised all her children together as a family. They were together 31 years until he succumbed. They loved each other deeply and were a match made in heaven.
Sabrena was the life of the party. She was a lively soul. Sabrena was a very nurturing, caring, loving, and selfless woman. She was a mother to people that were not her biological children. Sabrena didn’t sugar coat anything. She was real and told it like it was. You never knew what would come out of her mouth! That’s what we loved about Sabrena. Her energy and her soul were so loving.
Sabrena loved being with her family. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, playing spades, riding her scooter, watching sci-fi movies, and shopping which was her number one thing to do. She would spend hours shopping going up and down every aisle. If you have taken her shopping, you know what we’re talking about. Sabrena loved everyone. She left a mark on everyone she came across whether it was advice or giving you a lottery number to play. No words could ever describe Sabrena; she was just that special. She taught us to love each other, to be kind, and to have self-respect, to have morals, and to enjoy life but still take care of your business. Her energy and her soul were unexplainable. God blessed us with an angel and let us experience unconditional love for 58 years.
Sabrena fought a great fight and finished her journey of life. She is now reunited with her siblings Michael Blevins and Shirl Moore.
Sabrena leaves to mourn her sisters Tammy Smith, Theresa Odom, and Frances Washington, and her brother Tony Blevins.
Sabrena will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her fish fries on Fridays, her generosity, being the life of the party, and being the person that you can always depend on. You will forever be in our hearts.
