Samantha Monique Nelson was born to Marketta Nelson and Samuel Johnson on August 16, 2000, in Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated with honors from East Tech High School. A beautiful, outgoing, entrepreneur who loved to do hair, take trips, and dress in high fashion, lost her life at the age of 22 on March 1, 2023. Samantha was passionate about her up and coming salon. Her hands were magical and her mind was gifted – everything she touched exceeded all expectations! She gave birth to two amazingly beautiful daughters who will carry on her legacy.

She will be joined in heaven by her grandmother, Alice Johnson; and great-grandparents, Dan Nelson, and Evelyn and Wade Turner.

Samantha’s love will flourish through her daughters, Sa’Myla and Sa’Riyah Beddell; parents, Marketta Nelson and Samuel Johnson; siblings, Antonio, Fresh, Dasani, Devon, Saniyah, Samir, Torrey, Samyla, Syaun, Lexus, Donay, Samarion, and Sergio; grandparents, Deborah and Anthony Carlton, Wade Turner Sr., and Eddie Bridges; uncles, Wade Jr., Issac, Chris, and Clayton; aunts, Valencia, Shayla, and Terre. Samantha also has an abundance of friends and family that will carry her legacy with love and loyalty.
