Sarah A. Cambridge-Jones was born on November 22, 1952, to the late Eugene Jr. and Juanita Cummings. Sarah went home to be with the Lord on May 12, 2022, after a long illness.
Sarah was born in Cleveland, Ohio, where she graduated from John Adams High School. Her first marriage was to the late Eddie Cambridge Jr for 36 years. To this union, two sons were born, (Victor and Julius) and one daughter, (Juanthalia).
Sarah worked at Ford Motor Company as a Floor Supervisor, where she retired. Sarah loved the Lord, going to church, reading the Bible, traveling, singing, and listening to music. Sarah’s favorite gospel song was “God Is Real.” She also loved working in her yard planting her flowers and decorating her home.
In 2010, Sarah met and married the late Ancy James Jones Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving and devoted sons, Victor Cambridge Sr. (Omaha, NE), A.J. Jr (Brandon, MS) and Julius (Krystal) Cambridge (Port Saint Lucie, FL); daughters, Juanthalia Cambridge (Akron, OH) and Tracy Jones; grandchildren, Isaiah, Tia, Tiara, Victor Jr., Ava, Cre and Xia; sisters, Donna Adams and Melissa Cummings; sister-in-laws, Evelyn (Edmond) Celestine, Earnestine (John) Mclin, Vicki Robinson, Elnora Lockett and Barbra Turner; brothers, Eugene (Lavern) Cummings III, Derrick (Betty) Cummings, Wayne (Delores) Cummings and Rodney Cummings (deceased); brother-in-law, Thomas (Betty) Chaney; special family members, Kimberly Wright Hughes and Kanard Woods; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
