Sarah Regina Pendleton (later known as Mother Sarah Regina), born in Fredericksburg, Virginia on January 21, 1956, was the fifth of six children born to the late Elder Maurice Pendleton, Jr. and Mother Ethel Sarah Pendleton. On June 2, 2026, God called her home to her eternal rest. She passed away peacefully in her home, leaving a profound legacy of quiet grace, unwavering faith, and fierce devotion to her family.

Sarah was raised in Spotsylvania County. A kind, loving friend from her youth, she was known for her bright spirit and a sweet, unforgettable giggle. She graduated from Spotsylvania High School Class of 1974 and successfully completed an intensive, one-year vocational certificate program in Secretarial Studies at Germanna Community College in June 1975, mastering the organizational excellence that served as a foundation for her life’s work.

Sarah met Bennie Tucker at a church convention. Their instant connection led to their marriage on July 5, 1975. Together, they raised three beautiful children: Bennie, Jr. (T.J.), Julia, and Joél. For 50 years, Mother Sarah Regina walked hand-in-hand with Elder Bennie Tucker as a devoted wife and a pillar of strength in life and ministry, standing faithfully by his side until his passing in September 2025.

To her family, she was the ultimate domestic engineer. She took immense pride in caring for her home, acting as the family seamstress and “the cleaners” all in one, famously ironing shirts better than any professional without starch. Meticulous and immaculate, her standard for cleanliness was unmatched. While cooking wasn’t her passion, cooking for her family absolutely was. She possessed an exuberant love for life, a highly competitive spirit, and a smile that lit up any room. Once her children were in high school, she extended her gift of nurturing to the community, working for many years as a Home Health Aide with Visiting Angels.

The second half of her life was beautifully defined by her extraordinary devotion to her only biological granddaughter, Jada, with whom, from the moment of her birth, she shared a special and cherished relationship as if she were her own daughter. Mother Sarah Regina poured her heart and wisdom into Jada, recently experiencing the immense joy of watching her graduate at the top of her high school class, knowing she was preparing to carry the family legacy forward.

Above all, Mother Sarah Regina loved the Lord. Shaped by the Godly influence of her father, she possessed a deep knowledge of Scripture and never compromised on her faith. Her life was firmly rooted in the Word, making her a foundational pillar and the very first member of Breakout Ministries of Cleveland, established in 2017 by her son-in-law, Bishop Michael Ferrell, and her daughter, Pastor Julia Ferrell. Mother Sarah Regina deeply loved and supported both of them, embracing Bishop Michael not only as her pastor, but as a beloved son in her heart. She anchored the ministry with her prayers, presence, and spiritual strength.

She was a trusted confidante, a Church Mother, and a mother to the motherless. She was the ultimate Proverbs 31 woman.

Mother Sarah Regina Tucker was preceded in death by her husband, Elder Bennie (2025); her parents, Elder Maurice (1992) and Mother Ethel Sarah (1993); and her bonus grandchild, Alishah (2021).

She leaves to cherish her memory her two sons, Bennie, Jr. and Joél; one daughter, Julia (Michael); three brothers, Maurice, III, John (Charlene), and Matthew (Betty); two sisters, Jean (Junius, Jr.) and Pamela (Marcellous); three brothers-in-law, Alvin C., Jr., Willie C. (Gabrielle), and Joseph (Karnika); seven sisters-in-law, Margaret (Emanuel), Jennette (Gregory), Mattie (Kerry), Ellen (William), Willie Ruth, Annie Louise, and Brenda; one granddaughter, Jada; eleven bonus grandchildren: Devin, Orlando, Justin (Kayla), Alaysha, Aaliyah, Markee, Brooklyn, Cequisa, Alicia, Michael, and Alonzo; and a host of bonus great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
