Shavonne “Shay” Malika Cornelius , 41, departed this life on Monday, January 25, 2021.

Shavonne was born on November 5, 1979 at Cleveland Metropolitan General Hospital, to the loving care of Gina Monique Sellers and Jesse Cornelius.

Shavonne attended the Cleveland Public School Systems with the aspirations of someday attending Culinary School.  She enjoyed cooking and spending quality time with her children and family members.

Shavonne worked at various locations in the Cuyahoga Metropolitan area in the food service industry.

Shavonne was a loving devoted mother to Curtis “CJ” Osiris Clark and Jay’Da Owens.

Shavonne is preceded in death by her grandmother, Jacqueline Cornelius; aunts, Olivia Cornelius, Rosalind Cornelius, and Elizabeth Shehee; uncles, George Cornelius and Gregory Shehee.

Shavonne leaves to mourn her passing, her son, Curtis “CJ” Osiris Clark, daughter, Jay’Da Owens; mother, Gina Monique Sellers, father, Jesse Cornelius; sister, Dominique Celeste Poags; niece, Rinya Jamyla McDaniel of Houston, Texas; grandmother, Diane Sellers; aunts, Michelle Sellers, Juanita Dickerson(Charles), Kimberly Sellers, Lisa Sellers, Margaret Cornelius, Yolanda Cornelius, and Crystal Shehee of Columbus, Ohio; uncles, Darnell Sellers, Joseph Sellers III., Gary Sellers, Michael Cornelius, Louis”Butch” Cornelius Jr., (Diana) of Atlanta, Georgia; and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
