Sheila D. Neal was born September 6, 1955, to the late Kate Neal and Donnel Person. She was born and raised in Akron, OH and was a graduate of East High School in June of 1972. She retired from the State of Ohio Behavioral Health with over thirty years of service. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Annie Halsell; sisters; Ann Smith and Daisy Neal; and grandson, Damari Neal.
She is survived by her only child-daughter, Nikki Neal; grandchildren, Shantae`, Diante, Da`Vante, and De`Antre Neal; great-grandchildren, Saniya, Jerzey, Journey, Makari, Elijah, Zyaire, and Montiere aka Dooders brother Dante; special grandson, Joron Hollis; special granddaughters, Darshawna Powell and Mia Carey; brothers, Denny (Crystal) Neal, Clifton ( Sandy) Neal; sisters, Annie Singletary, Jean Neal, Sherry Neal, April Smith, and Joy Kirkland and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
