Shirley Deloris Taborn Philpot, “Bitty”, age 85, of Cleveland OH, transitioned to heaven on October 8, 2023. She was born on November 2, 1937, in Piqua OH, to Floyd Oliver and Ella Mae Taborn.

Shirley was preceded in death by her daughter, Tamara Philpot; parents, Floyd and Ella Philpot; her sister, Edith McCloud; her husband, Joe L. Philpot, her brother, Floyd Oliver “Bud” Taborn, Jr., her sister, Ella Mae Taborn Reid, her brother, Marshall Fredrick “Pete” Taborn, her grandson, Corey Talmadge, and (recently) her daughter, Renee Philpot.

Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her children: daughter Denish Evans of Troy OH, son Haleem Abdu, of Thailand, daughter Kim (Gayle) Berry of Union OH, and daughter Michele Perry of Cleveland OH; grandchildren: Jeremy (Katy) Evans of West Milton OH, Jonathan (Chelsea) Evans of Troy OH, Meaghan Berry of Union OH, Reuben Perry III of Columbus OH, Kaamilah Abdu of Dayton OH, Haleem Abdu Jr. of Dayton OH, Natalia Renee Philpot of Zanesville OH, and Jaavon Philpot OF COLUMBUS OH; great-grandchildren: Corey Talmadge, Jr., Quincy Talmadge, Candice Talmadge, Noah Talmadge, Eli Talmadge, Destiny Evans, Jaiden Harris,  London Evans, Caprice Evans, Callie Evans, Colerayne Evans, Aaliyah Renee Philpot, Selina Renee Philpot, Reuben Perry, IV, Chosen Evans, Millie Evans, and beloved in-laws and many extended family and friends.
