Her vibrant and cherished memory will remain with her loving husband Ernest Mitchell Jr, and son Ernest Mitchell III, Mitchell (Desiree).
Shirley’s legacy lives on through her grandchildren: DeVon, John, Breona and Desmond, along with seven great-grandchildren: Imani, Kendall, Karson, DeVon Jr, Jaxson, Laylah and Desmond Jr. Siblings: Ella Mae Rawls (Donald), Bessie Sellers, Paulette Ford, Joseph Petty, Larry Petty, Marlene Petty, and Richard Petty (Dorenda), and beloved nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents John and Cassie Petty and brother’s Nicholas Petty and John Petty Jr.
