Anne Johnson left a message on March 12, 2021:
Our hearts are with Shirley's family & friends & there are too many to name! I met Shirley in 1979 when we worked @ the Recycle Energy Plant then when I interviewed @ the Water Dept., Shirley escorted me to the interview & said, you are following me! It ended up, I was on my way to work, saw Shirley waiting for the bus in bad weather, picked her up & took her home for many years while meeting or hearing about her family, stopping @ various stores & so much more! She was one of a kind, never met a stranger & could be the life of the party! Will miss her calling out of the blue! Love you Shirley Girley!! Anne Johnson & Troy Willard.
Karen Bayless left a message on March 11, 2021:
To the Wolfe and Pearl family I want to express my deepest condolences . My heart is broken in the loss a of beautiful friend, loving wife, mother and grandmother. Shirley is deeply missed and it’s so hard on me to except the fact she’s gone. I’ll miss her beautiful smile and her silly ways and the get togethers we shared with other friends. She will definitely be missed in the choir at New Hope. I also enjoyed singing with her at the Gospel Meets Symphony. She cared about all of her and friends. Nobody will ever take Shirley’s place she’ll forever live in my heart. I truly miss her so much. Karen & Bernice Bayless
Carmen Wingo left a message on March 7, 2021:
Sending condolences, praying God’s guidance for family and friends at this time. Shirley... A strong tenor song bird in the choir. You really enjoyed giving God the glory honor and praise through singing, and your own style of double clapping. I smile while remembering you laughing at me for being alto, singing tenor with you, and you telling me to “go back”. Shirley, you will be missed dearly NHBC Carmen

Thoughts & Prayers to the Family of Shirley Wolfe. I met Shirley years ago while attending Akron U with her sister Bridget. When Bridget and I became friends I became acquainted with the family. The majority of time I would run into Shirley at the stores (grocery stores, drug stores, department stores). It didn't matter which store we were at we would be in those stores for hours. We would shop, talk about her children and grandchildren and their accomplishments and she would show me pictures of her children and grandchildren. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren. When Lockheed closed down in Akron and I was laid off, Shirley would call me about jobs that were hiring tech support. Shirley had such an incredible personality and spirit and I will miss her very much. Heaven has gained a beautiful Angel and soul. May God wrap his loving arms around each of you during this difficult time.

My twin cousin Shirley Mae Jones Wolfe! I will miss her! I always Bragged that I was the oldest twin cousin being born on March 19, 1955 and she on March 22, 1955. Our Momma decided to give us twin names Shirley Mae and Pearley Mae! We exchanged Birthday cards every year and last year we praised God for letting us see 65 years together! I will miss sending her that card this year! And though we did not talk often; I knew to reserve 2 hours to talk on the phone, because there is no way we could catch up and get her off the phone before then! I love my cousin and will miss her!! My prayers are to my family during this difficult time! Awesome funeral service! Yes Cousin! I’ll meet you on the other side! Love, Cousin Pearley Mae Jones Atwater!

Sister Shirley Wolfe is one of the most kind., loving extension of the heart of God is love. This Shirley displayed everywhere she went. She loved to talk about and ask prayers for her family, children in the community and any one who was sick or shut-in. She also, asked for prayer for herself . She knew prayer changed things. Her belief and trust in God was strong. I thank God for her example. One day, we shall meet again. Family, you are always in my heart and prayers. You are not alone. God will never leave nor forsake you.??♥️♥️♥️♥️
