Sidney B. Beullah, was born on December 31, 1940, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Albert Sidney and Lillie Mae Beullah, both of whom preceded him in death.

He graduated from Youngstown East High School in June of 1960, where he was a member of the varsity football team. Sidney went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree from Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio.

Sidney dedicated his career to education, teaching for many years in the Cleveland Public School System. Beyond his work in the classroom, he possessed a talent for interior remodeling of houses. He was passionate about barbequing and was regarded as a grill master. Sidney was also an avid sports fan.

Sidney departed this world on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the age of 84.

He leaves to cherish his memory: a son, Gemayel Rasul (Precious Givens); a daughter, Lori N. Beullah; a sister, Joyce (Vernon) Saunders; cousins, Jerome (Brenda) Underwood, Carl Underwood Jr., and Tyrone Underwood; his special friend, Lauren Anderson; along with many other relatives and friends. Sidney was preceded in death by his daughter, Aria Beullah
